Radiesse

Radiesse Treatments

Radiesse is an FDA approved injectable filler used to treat volume loss in the face and hands and improve collagen production on the face and body. The main ingredient, Calcium Hydroxyapatite, is a biocompatible ingredient that stimulates the body to create its own collagen over time. It can be used as it comes in the syringe or blended with Bacteriostatic Saline to create Hyperdilute Radiesse. This treatment is used similarly to Sculptra. It is thinner and can be used to improve skin texture on the face and body, helping the skin “glow,” reducing wrinkles and tightening the skin.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

Radiesse FAQ's

Radiesse is made up of Calcium Hydroxyapetite. This is a biocompatible product that stimulates the body to create collagen. As such, results from this treatment can sometimes be longer lasting, since it is stimulating some of your bodies natural collagen production. Hyaluronic Acid fillers are made of Hyaluronic Acid gel, which works by pulling water into the treatment area to create volume. We frequently use these two types of injectables to treat different concerns and areas of the face and body.

Swelling and tenderness is a common side effect after Radiesse treatment. There is also a risk of bruising from the needle used. However, most side effects resolve entirely within a few days of treatment.

Immediately! You will look in the mirror and notice an instant improvement. However, over time, as the product settles and the body creates collagen, it will also improve the appearance of the overlying skin.
