It is also known as platelet rich plasma and platelet rich fibrin. It entails of drawing blood and processing it on site and then injected in the areas of concern.   The PRP/PRF are highly rich in growth components.

The areas that can be treated can be eyes, midface, smile lines, marionette.  It can also be used for lips, scar therapy, scalp treatments for hair growth and post laser treatments.

Anytime there is a injectable procedure there is always a chance for bruising, swelling.  So plan your events accordingly before having procedures.

Plasma is the liquid component of your blood. It is about 92% water and makes up about 55% of your blood's content.

 

The other 45% is made up of red and white blood cells and platelets.

 

Platelets are a component of your blood that assists in healing. They help with clotting and contain growth factors which stimulate tissue rejuvenation and cell reproduction.

 

Platelet Rich Plasma is blood that has a higher percentage of platelets.

To make this, we take a blood sample from the patient and use a centrifuge to spin it, separating the blood and concentrating the platelets into the plasma.

Platelet rich plasma can be used to stimulate and accelerate the healing process throughout your body, has been shown to minimize pain and can encourage hair growth.
